~ calm and confidential space| gain understanding and insight ~
Welcome to Pensive Counselling
My name is Penny Sofroniou and I’m currently offering face to face and online counselling and psychotherapy services.
My counselling space is based in the Wickford Runwell area, which is within easy reach of Basildon, Billericay, Rayleigh, Hockley, Battlesbridge, South Hanningfield and South Woodham Ferrers.
I help people get to the root of what is causing their problems, and support them in finding ways to change their lives for the better.
If you’re reading this, I imagine you might be finding yourself struggling to manage things right now; maybe you’re finding it’s a recent thing, or maybe it’s been happening for some time. Now you’re making a decision to take that first step to get better.
It takes a lot of courage to even admit that we are struggling and even more to make that first move, reaching out to a professional and hoping they’ll be able to help us. Making that first phone call or leaving that first message can be really nerve wrecking!
You might be wondering how (or if) I can help you. You might be looking for help with making a change right away, or you might be looking for more information about how counselling works and if it’s the right journey for you.
Some of the most common problems that I help people to overcome are feelings of depression, anxiety, or a sense of isolation and loneliness. I am particularly interested in working with those who identify as LGBTQ+, although these are not the only things I can help with (check out the about section for more info).
What I offer is a calm and confidential space to explore the things that are troubling you, and through our sessions you can hope to gain some understanding, clarity and insight to yourself and your issues.
If you would like us to work together to help you feel better, you can contact me on 07568 350 457, email me on email@example.com or use the site contact form, and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
*Note: I may not respond to a missed call if no message has been left*
